The Florida Keys!!
Yes folks, to add to my idyllic life of leisure, I'm spending a week in the Keys with some girl family members. History: every year the ladies on my mom's side get together for a girls weekend. Last year it was Cape Cod. The year before was North Carolina. Next year... who knows?!
So, my mother, 2 aunts and I left NC at 5am Wednesday morning and arrived in Orlando that afternoon, after a lunch stop in St. Simons, GA. We stayed the night at an aunt and uncles house and hit the road around 9 this morning. After a stop in Boca Raton for a sushi lunch with one of my best friends, Adria, we hit the Keys this afternoon.
So, that's that for now. Expect not to hear from me for a few days (what else is new).

i'd just like to let you know. It's 21 degrees and snowing here. There's been snow on the ground for nearly the last month straight. As I type, the snow just increased to about 1/2" in diameter and is falling faster.
hurray! I finally made the all too important blog space of Michelle LeRoy! How excited am I? It was so good seeing you and your FAM. Have fun!
