Not! Actually, that is the opening number of a little musical called "Avenue Q" which I saw tonight (for the second time) with my cousin Mike and my friends Anthony and Ryan (all for the first time).
Let's back up a little, though, to this morning...
This morning I had a Children's theater show of Babes in Toyland. Wretched horrible mess is all I have to say about that.
The rest of the afternoon was tolerable. My friend Kate and I watched the slowest movie on earth called "waitress". They weren't kidding about the wait part, either. The movie was over before it got started.
Then it was off to Ave Q! Man I love that show. It's not for the faint of heart or easily upset, that's for sure. One of the best songs in the show, for example, is entitled "Everyone's a little bit racist." Brilliant. It's a show about life and people and the daily hilarity of living in a too pc world where nobody really quite knows what's going to happen next, or what they're even there for. Sound familar? It does to me, that's for sure.
I just deleted a whole bit about people saying happy holidays because I've just realised what time it is and I have a show in the morning. More on happy holidays later. It's not something I let slide.
Kisses!
me
