Little did I realize just how much time has passed since my last blog. I honestly felt like I blogged only a day or three ago... oopsies! Just to clear the air, here's why I haven't blogged in 10 days...
I'm lame.
No, seriously, once we start rolling into a week of show, it's madness. On tuesday, thursday and saturday I'm the star (I know this to be true because I bow last) of the children's production of Babes in Toyland. Who the said "babes" are, I have no clue. It's not like girls in bikini's are running around or that we have a surplus of small children on stage.
On wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday, I am in Beauty and the Beast working my tail off as girl with pig, 7 foot wide chandelier, can-can napkin, mob member and a disenchanted object in the finale. Is that right? I turned from an object back into a human... or have I been unenchanted? I don't think that's even a word. Anyway, you get the point. Also on wednesdays I am a silly girl (one of the three blonds chasing Gaston). So, that keeps me pretty busy. Not to mention the fact that my presence is requested, nay, demanded, at all social functions. They're good times, really. Sunday is usually movie night; monday is rehearsal night; tuesday I sometimes have dinner with my obligatory gay best friend, Mike; wednesday is a free for all, although last week a couple of the girls and I found a cute little winery near the theater and we have vowed to visit often.
So, I'm sort of seeing someone, also. His name is Curren and he's the assistant stage manager at the theater. We share a love for sushi, cats and bonfires. He's 6'2", long curly brown hair (which he keeps pulled back in a pony loop all the time) and is unnervingly observant. He belongs to a group of guys who stage medieval battles (I think I've told some stories about the battles. Not fights. Battles.) which sounds completely nerdy, but is actually really cool. I was an archer once and I was pretty much a BAMF at it. I was really good at shooting people in the face (and trees). And by people, I mean large men. Then I run away and hide behind a tree. Not brave, I know, but at least I don't die.
Still not sure where I'm headed after this, although the production manager did offer me a more permanent job at the theater as a tech, which I wouldn't mind doing, but I haven't said yes or no yet. It pays more than I'm getting as an actor, but I'm wondering just how torturous it will be to not be onstage...
Tomorrow, Aunt Wendy, Mike Rachel and I are headed into DC to see (Matt, I hope you're reading this) Trans Siberian Orchestra!!! I'm so freaking excited, I can't even stand it! I've seen the videos, heard the cd's, downloaded the ringtones and now I'll be seeing them in real life! Expect a very excited, high pitched blog tomorrow night :o)
Ok, this thing is getting ridiculously long... I'll ramble more tomorrow because, I guarantee, I'll remember more of what I should have said when I'm snuggled in bed in about 10 minutes!

Good Morning Michelle...so cool to get an update from you. All sounds awesome. You'll go crazy at the TSO show. They're incredible! I'm off to shoot a film with some students. I'm a line producer for the school now. Glad you're keeping in touch; love hearing about your crazy paced life :) -loveMICHAEL
I certainly ready this, and you certainly WILL have a ton to talk about in your next blog after the concert because they're going to just AMAZE you... for about 3 hours non-stop! Enjoy! Thanks for the phone call during one of my favourite (and possiblly one of the best) guitar tracks in the world. I wish I could be there. Love ya! -Matt
I meant to say "read", not "ready"... my brain is fried!!
